nice series 1 Brat too. Ill still take an 84-85 turbo with t-tops and that whopping 110 hp though

I kept trying trying to find a reason not to. The axle was messed up, the PO was fixing it. Not a problem. Took me 26 months of ownership to finally break something I couldn't fix with the bag of tools in the glovebox.
You have to appreciate the basic, though. It's not a tiny Silverado, it's a cheap Japanese sedan with a pickup bed.
Evolutionarily, it's the most preserved of the species, and the 2-door hatchback (of which I have a ratty example)
but the wagon has its own appeal as well. .
Disclaimer: We had the wagon of this, it was old and weak back then, but utterly snow capable. Traded it in on a new Gen2. Well, nobody was going to preserve that thing, it was a snow car.
